What happens to our insurance cover if we bring in a temporary replacement member or a member leaves and is replaced?
We have the facility in the AMPband members area for you to make changes to the line up of your band at any time during the year, as often as you need and at no extra cost.
The only person who cannot be changed is the
'lead member'. This is the person who registered the band with us and whose
name appears on the PLI cover paperwork. If the lead person leaves the group
then you should contact us to arrange for the name to be changed to another
member of the same named act. The membership & certifcate cannot however be
transferred to a different band or act.
In many cases acts have spare
named spaces already available. For instance a 6 piece band falls into the 6
- 10 piece price bracket and so has 4 extra spaces available for regular
deps. If there are no spare named spaces available on the membership then
you can remove one name to free it for the new member.
You can swop
or replace names as often as you need to during the period of membership
from within the members area ('Update Your Details').
