Public Liability Insurance for Visiting Live Bands

You Need a Visiting Live Band to Have Their Own PLI

Do bands need PLIWhat do you do if a visiting band, live act, singer or tribute act turns up at your venue without Public Liability Insurance?

Are you the owner of a venue or the function manager and you need to ensure that the entertainment visiting your establishment has PLI cover?

Ideally this check would be carried out at the time of booking or within a few weeks prior to the event.

But what happens if the band turns up without PLI or with insufficient cover?

There are 3 options but only one that makes complete sense!

  • You could turn them away and risk upsetting your client and their guests
  • You could take a chance and allow them access to perform
  • Or you could point the band to this site...

When bands register with us and join AMPband they are covered straightaway and a Member Certificate and confirmation of cover are immediately available from the site.

The price of AMPband membership is determined by the number of members in the band. Click here for a guide.

Joining take just a few minutes - PLI cover for bands is available 24/7 and after payment the cover is immediate.
