Looking to join a body organisation for musicians in the UK?
The Alliance of Musicians and Performers (AMPband) is for professional,
semi-professional and hobbyist musicians, singers, bands, buskers, music
teachers and tribute acts.
One of the many benefits of AMPband
membership is free £10 million Public Liability Insurance cover.
AMPband is also a 'Recognised Body Organisation' for processing DBS (formerly CRB) checks on behalf of its members. If you require a DBS certificate to teach or perform music then we can help you apply for one (a fee is payable).
Would you have £239,930.94 to give away?
That's
the value of just one claim made against a band by a guest who
was allegedly injured at their event.
Fortunately for them they had Public
Liability Insurance cover with us and so the whole process was taken
care of on their behalf (including investigation and legal fees).
If they
didn't have that PLI then they would've been on their own. They would need to find
their
own solicitor (& cover those costs) plus pay any claims for damages and all
legal fees from their own bank balances.
It doesn't matter how careful
you are, accidents can happen. Even if it's not your fault a claim can be
made against you and without PLI cover you would have to challenge this
yourself - from your own pocket.
It costs from around £1 a week to be
a member of AMPband and have £10m PLI plus £250,000 legal cover too. Can you
afford to take the risk and go it alone?
Now the easy part - It only
takes a few minutes to register with us and then you're covered. Peace of
mind doesn't come any easier or faster than that!
Want to join by

AMPband is for musicians, singers, soloists, duos, trios, bands and groups.
